[News] Jessica Hsuan makes most number of NGs in her 18 years of career

Best known to the local audience for her role in Ch5's Parental Guidance in 2007, Hong Kong actress Jessica Hsuan took up a new challenge and began her first Ch8 drama Bountiful Blessings.

In the show, Jessica portrays a single mother, who owns a restaurant and later falls in love with the chef (played by Tay Ping Hui) she hired.

When xinmsn visited the set of Bountiful Blessings on July 8, Jessica revealed that her biggest worry acting in the drama was the Mandarin dialogue. It is believed that the actress usually spent her free time between shoots to memorise her scripts.

Even then, Jessica still sighed jokingly that her Mandarin is "too good", which led to a number of NG scenes. She felt apologetic for that, as it affected her co-stars.

Jessica let on that this was her worst collection of NG shots in her 18-year acting career. The actress, who is well-known for having few NG shots in Hong Kong, even had local actor Tay Ping Hui vouching for her, saying that she used to be able to finish a scene in half a take.

"Ping Hui told me, 'I will never give up on you, even though the entire world gives up on you.' Two weeks later, he gave up too!" Jessica expressed.

Nonetheless, the actress was still very grateful for Ping Hui's help.
