Hong Kong tabloids claimed that Tavia Yeung (楊怡)and Lai Lok Yi (黎諾懿) turned from friends to lovers. Allegedly, Lai Lok Yi frequently had dinner at Tavia’s house and knew her mother very well. Tabloids claimed that Lok Yi possessed a resident card at Tavia’s apartment building and was free to come and go as he pleased. In addition, he and Tavia shared the same parking space.
While filming ATF Counter Terrorism Unit < ATF反恐>, reporters asked Lai Lok Yi about his romantic rumors with Tavia. Lok Yi noted that he knew Tavia’s family very well and often had dinner with them. He stressed that he was currently not dating Tavia, but possessed very good feelings towards her. Since the future was unpredictable, he did not eliminate the possibility that they may become lovers in the future. Regarding the use of Tavia’s parking space, Lok Yi explained that Tavia’s car broke down and he temporarily borrowed the space.
