Hong Kong's veteran actor Ray Lui, who once starred alongside Chow Yun Fatt in the drama series The Bund, has reportedly married four times and has two teenage daughters.
The actor's three marriages - to Hong Kong actress Kathy Chow, singer Cally Kwong and current wife Wang Xiao Juan - are known facts.
However, it was recently reported that after his first marriage and before he married Cally, Ray had another girlfriend. They apparently have two daughters together. The girls are now teenagers aged 18 and 20 years old.
Rumours are swirling that the younger girl is Ray's personal assistant and that he has plans to bring the elder girl into showbiz.
This report angered current missus Xiao Juan who held a press conference to criticise the report for affecting her family. Ray and Xiao Juan have a son who was born in 2003. Their blissful family life has been the envy of many.
Xiao Juan reportedly demanded the person who started the rumour to apologise, if not, legal actions will be taken.
At the press conference, Xiao Juan clarified that the two girls in question are in fact his nieces. Ray's brother also confirmed that the girls are his daughters.
In a phone, Ray actor blasted the report for being irresponsible as no clarification was sought before the report was published.
