[News] Yoyo Mung Crashes Ekin Cheng’s Sedan

In recent days, Yoyo Mung (蒙嘉慧) has been busy shooting TVB drama, ATF Counter Terrorism Unit <ATF反恐>. The night before yesterday, while driving her boyfriend, Ekin Cheng’s (鄭伊健) sedan to TVB City to work, Yoyo unfortunately got into a traffic accident at Tseung Kwan O and collided with another vehicle. A male passenger from the other vehicle was injured and sent to the hospital. Yoyo’s car was damaged as a result but luckily she remained unscathed. After taking a breath-analyzer test, Yoyo left the scene and headed to the film set. She then stayed there until filming wrapped yesterday morning before returning back home.

Yesterday, Yoyo revealed that she already felt fine and replied, “Actually it’s a really small matter, it’s most important not to be hurt or injured. At that time, the police officer knew I was rushing to work (after the accident occurred) so he let me go off on condition that I I backtrack a statement to them after work. I will head back later to let them record my statement. Fortunately despite being an hour late due to the accident, I didn’t affect the filming process. This is the very first time (in my life) that I had done a breath analyzer test.”

Yoyo had also settled on a compensation amount with the other driver. Asked whether she had notified boyfriend Ekin who was currently filming in mainland, Yoyo professed that after the accident, she immediately called Ekin to report that she was safe and sound, “He (Ekin) said the most important thing was for me to be fine. He joked that I should ride a horse instead but it would prove to be too busy (for me) since it cannot drive. Furthermore, his damaged car will also be under repair so he asked me to take a taxi wherever I go and indirectly help to stimulate the Hong Kong economy.”
